Lecturer at the Tel Aviv University department of Archaeology and Ancient Near East Cultures. Yuval was one of the pioneers in Community archaeology in Israel.

 Initiator and co-director of the Ancient Lod Community Archaeology Project.

The Ancient Lod Community Archaeological Project is directed by the Israeli Institute of Archaeology, a Non-Profit Organization with the following goals:

  • Developing Scientific Archaeological Research

  • Initiating community archaeological projects

  • Presenting archaeology to the general public

  • Developing archaeological sites.

The Institute functions as the executive branch of the Sonia and Marco Nadler institute of Archaeology at the Tel Aviv University.

The Israeli Institute of Archaeology staff includes PhD Archaeologists, preservation experts, tourism experts and graduate students.
